Descente Korea announced on the 5th that it is recruiting the 'Team Delta Pro 2nd Generation' targeting genuine runners.
Team Delta Pro (TEAM DELTA PRO) is a Descente running team that aims to overcome runners' own limits and improve speed with Descente. It is a program designed to break Personal Best (PB) records by receiving a systematic training system provided by Descente.

Runners selected for Team Delta Pro 2nd Generation will be provided with opportunities to maximize their latent running performance, including ▲ team training by elite national team-trained professional running coaches, ▲ individualized training programs, ▲ running tests at DISC, Descente's R&D center equipped with state-of-the-art running facilities and equipment, and ▲ team training with the Samsung Electronics Track and Field Team.

In particular, Team Delta Pro 2nd Generation will receive support with 3 million won worth of running products, including the 'Delta Pro EXP', a top-tier carbon plate running shoe developed with Descente's R&D technology, a running performance apparel line, and running gear.

A Descente Korea official said, "All runners of Team Delta Pro 1st Generation in 2023 achieved personal records in the full marathon and half marathon, demonstrating the excellence of the training program and products." They continued, "In 2024, we will focus even more on improving runners' performance with the upgraded Descente carbon plate running shoes."

Furthermore, anyone who holds a full marathon record of 4 hours or less can apply for Team Delta Pro. To apply, applicants must submit an application form through the 'Team Delta Pro 2nd Generation' special promotion page on the Descente official online store by April 14th. The final selection results will be individually notified on April 19th. The 20 selected runners will be provided with the opportunity to participate in the Team Delta Pro training program and the 2024 Seoul Running event, and will participate in activities for 8 months from May to December.
In addition, various benefits will be awarded to outstanding performers after the completion of the Team Delta Pro activities, including participation tickets for overseas marathons, the opportunity to wear Descente's new running shoes in 2025, and Descente running product gifts.
