YDOB Cool Summer Net

"YDOB", a functional premium outdoor sportswear brand, is drawing attention with its 'Cool Thermo Sleeveless' product as a promising summer hit.

Developed by Shinwha K&L (CEO Kang Ho-eon), the'YDOB Cool Thermo Sleeveless' product is a summer version of the YDOB Thermonet base layer. Made in a mesh style, it facilitates rapid sweat evaporation, boasts inherent hydrophobicity, and is exceptionally lightweight.

Specifically, the material has been adjusted for the summer season, incorporating 62% polyethylene fiber (35% polypropylene, 3% polyurethane) with high thermal conductivity to provide a cooling effect. The cool feeling of the polyethylene fiber is a function of its polymer characteristics, making the cooling effect virtually permanent.

Furthermore, compared to the winter Thermonet, the compression has been reduced for comfortable wear on relaxed summer skin. The chest area is also designed with a smaller mesh to consider the degree of body exposure.

Shinhwa K&L plans to sequentially release Cool Thermo short sleeves, Cool Thermo drawers, and Cool Thermo headbands, following the launch of the sleeveless top. Categorizing Thermonet by season, consumers can choose between Warm Thermo for winter warmth and Cool Thermo for summer coolness, expanding the range of options.

"Without significant advertising or promotion, word-of-mouth from consumers has created buzz and boosted the product's competitiveness," explained Kang Ho-eon, CEO of Shinwha K&L. "By handling the entire process—from R&D, manufacturing, and distribution to sales—without advertising expenses, we aim to create affordable, high-value products for consumers. We will continue to invest in R&D and incorporate customer feedback to develop an ever-evolving Thermonet, thanks to your support."
