Global fashion brand UNIQLO is recruiting UMC (UNIQLO Management Candidate) through its 2024 first-half new graduate recruitment program until May 13.

UMCs, selected through UNIQLO's new graduate recruitment process, are roles that allow individuals to grow into global business leaders based on their experience in the sales field.

Successful candidates will gain essential work experience that will help them grow into potential UNIQLO business leaders through an intensive training program covering store management, merchandise management, profit management, and human resource management. After joining the company, successful candidates can develop their work experience in various fields, including store manager, regional manager, headquarters, and overseas assignments, depending on their individual aptitude and career goals.

To coincide with this first-half recruitment, UNIQLO will hold offline recruitment explanation sessions at a total of 7 universities from April 26 to May 9, including Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University, Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Inha University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Hanyang University.

The offline recruitment explanation sessions will have different schedules for each university and will be run in the format of a ‘consultation booth’ and a ‘lunch explanation session.’ The ‘consultation booth,’ which will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, will allow job seekers to speak with recruitment staff and gain insights into their questions and application tips, along with a light lunch. The ‘lunch explanation session’ will feature store managers, headquarters staff, and overseas assignees who are UMC seniors, giving participants an opportunity to hear about their store work experiences and growth stories.

The online live recruitment explanation session held on May 10 will feature recruitment staff and current employees explaining the UMC role and introducing the company’s philosophy, culture, and employee benefits. Participants can register in advance for both the online and offline recruitment explanation sessions, and all participants will receive bonus points for the document screening process.

The starting salary for new graduates recruited through the UNIQLO recruitment process is approximately 50 million won, including bonuses, and a variety of welfare programs are available, including refresh leave, awards, housing support for those working in regional areas, and separate performance-based bonuses.
