Mmlg and KEEN Collaborate on New Shoes, Inspired by Photographer Gwak Gi-gon's 'NAKSAN BEACH'

Based on the concept of 'CHAT PLAY CASUALLY,' Mmlg (엠엠엘지), which presents an everyday wear collection that embraces spontaneity and casualness in daily life, has unveiled a collaborative shoe with the urban outdoor shoe brand, 'KEEN (킨).'

This collaborative shoe, a reinterpretation of KEEN's (킨) best-selling 'Jasper' model, which LF imports and sells, showcases the functionality of outdoor shoes with a refined design, making it comfortable to wear anytime, anywhere.

The collaborative shoe draws inspiration from 'NAKSAN BEACH,' part of photographer Gwak Ki-gon's 'SAND' collection, which has accompanied the growth of 87MM and Mmlg since 2011.

With the theme of 'We decided to walk on the sand,' the design of the shoe body utilizes the colors found in 'NAKSAN BEACH,' while mixing Mmlg and KEEN's logos and brand colors to express the identity of both brands.

In particular, the shoe features a sophisticated gray-tone panel, a refreshing blue accent, a cool mint-colored heel tab, and unique shoelaces, all capturing the free-spirited Mmlg aesthetic and wit.

The insole, printed with 'NAKSAN BEACH,' adds a unique touch, evoking the feeling of walking on sand. Furthermore, it offers exceptional comfort with a premium cowhide leather upper, a breathable mesh lining, and a rubber outsole enhanced for grip.

The shoe is available in sizes ranging from 230 to 280, suitable for both men and women. The Mmlg and KEEN collaborative shoe will be available on the 87MM online store starting June 5th. Each purchase comes with a stopper string that can be used in various ways.

Additionally, a pop-up store will be held at 'Igu Seongsu' in Seongsu-dong from June 5th to 30th. Visitors can try on and purchase the shoes, participate in various events, and enjoy a photo zone themed around Naksan Beach. For more details, please visit the brand's website and social media.
